In its fifth year, the awards program will focus on the work of the Southeast Chapter member states of Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. The Piedmont Driving Club, one of Philip Shutze's most distinguished projects, will be the site for the 2011 festivities celebrating the award winners.
The awards are named for Philip Trammell Shutze, the Atlanta architect whose work is revered internationally as one of the 20th-century’s most devoted classicists. The awards will recognize similar individuals who are contributing to the creation of 21st- century Classical and Traditional architecture and related fields.
The Shutze Awards evening attracts the finest practitioners of architectural, interior and landscape design and construction in the southeast.
